Since then, I’ve had a chance to attend a webinar about REALeSELLER.  And, I have to say, I was impressed.

I’ve never used Outlook.  I just never liked how it was laid out.  Besides that, I never wanted to use a Microsoft product for something as critical as a contact manager.  Microsoft has never been known for its customer support focus!

So, that means that if you have forms being completed on a website, or registrations on an IDX MLS search, the email notification you receive of that transaction ends up in your it-isn’t-really-Outlook contact manager and you can consolidate all your prospect information in one place.

ADVANTAGES OF USING OUTLOOK

I hate to admit it, but I did see advantages in using Outlook as a platform for the contact manager.  For one thing, Outlook is almost a standard for email.  That means that integrating with other software is easier.  For example, Outlook data – and therefore REALeSELLER data – synchs easily with most PDAs.

I know that some people think that they need Internet access to their contact manager.  That’s not possible with a single version of REALeSELLER.  But, my question has always been, “If you’re using your contact manager online, what are you logging in with?  Your laptop??”  If that’s true, then never fear because you’ve got your contact manager right on your desktop.
