Cat Got Your Tongue?

Thanks to Jay Thompson, a real estate agent and Internet guru in Phoenix, I came across another cure for ”cat got your tongue” syndrome.

It’s an excellent list of 106 Content Ideas for REALTORS®.  As a real estate agent, I’ll bet you have opinions, tips, and war stories related to a lot of them.

The article was written in terms of finding topics to write about on a real estate blog.  But, while you’re reviewing the list, think about the topics in terms of creating web pages that address these issues from a global perspective.  Many of the topics could be used as the basis for permanent content pages that would increase your website’s stickiness, and be very attractive to search engines, too.

If you’re really clever, you could address some of the topics in reports that are specific to your market area.  You could make the information fit into what Michael Russer likes to call “irrestible offers”.  That means that your visitors would be glad to trade their contact information for the report.

And, if you are blogging about the details or war stories related to a topic that is addressed on one of your website’s permanent pages, guess what opportunity that presents….  you can easily link from your blog post to the specific page on your website that provides an overview of the topic.

Gotta love the site stickiness, search engine optimization and link opportunities you get with great content!

Karen,

You can review the list by clicking on the link where it says 106 Content Ideas.

I know that without the underline, it might not look like a link, but any text in this blog that is the dark burgundy color will take you where you want to go!
