I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’ve had it with politicians.
Republican, Democrat, Tea Party,
and anyone else hanging around Washington.
But, What’s a Person to Do????
Well, the only weapon we have is our vote.

How about if NONE of us voted next time.
What if they held an election and we cancelled it due to lack of interest?

Help for Japan

No, Glen, the earthquake and tsunami in Japan was not a message from God. It was a terrible reminder of the awesome power of the natural forces that surround us.
It is truly a tragedy that Japan is suffering so much destruction and human suffering. I am humbled by the way in which the Japanese people are responding to this emergency. I am frightened by the prospect of a real nuclear disaster.
I’m writing this post because I thought it would be a good idea to send support and prayers out into the universe for the Japanese people. Probably won’t make a difference, but one never knows.

Rats! Losing Sleep Again!!

I just figured out that Daylight Savings time begins again this weekend. Yes, I will like the extra daylight, but I’m not good at losing that hour of sleep. So, if you’ve been as out of touch with the news as I have the last few days, just thought I’d remind you to turn the clocks forward an hour this Saturday night, 3-12-11.
If you opened the BRER Newsletter early on Wednesday, February 2, you probably had a difficult time getting to the posts from the links in your email.
I want to apologize for any inconvenience.
As technology is apt to do, there was a slight technical difficulty last Wednesday. What Happened, You Ask?
I don’t really know. But, I did discover that the entire BRER Blog had effectively disappeared. There were no posts, no comments, no BRER images in the header. So, everything I posted from January, 2006 to last Wednesday was, well, gone.
Luckily, working with my web host, the entire blog was reinstated. Whew. Talk about heart attack fodder.
