David,

Glad you had a good experience with the Forum. I think that type of an open exchange can be very helpful.

Thanks for stopping by,

FYI - they have over 800 users now. Not sure when you posted the 540, but they seem to be growing pretty quick.

I got a response from an eagent on the forum in like an hour...pretty good considerng most realtors never get back to you.

thanks

Tobi,

Thanks for the feedback on the new forum. I'm sure the television ads will contribute to making the forum a more well-traveled location.

I have been in real estate for almost 10 years servicing the chinese american market primarily in souther california and the eAgent forum is one of a few sites I think are useful (Zillow, Trulia and Move are also good) for all agents & consumers.

I think you make a great point that you do not have to be an "eAgent" to use it, upload your listings, and so on. Not sure if you know this, but eAgent also runs tv ads that I have seen on CNN and HGTV. I found a link to the TV commercial on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=eagent.com

Thanks - great blog/soapbox btw! Keep up the good work.

Rob,

Thanks for giving us some feedback. Good to hear you've had some good experience with forums. And, I agree - the more the better.

Especially since you don't seem to have to be a client of eAgent, it would make the forum useful for everyone.

Thanks for the information, forums have always been a good area to get the discussions going among consumers and even drum up some business.

I checked out the eAgent forum and it looks like they have gotten some traffic and conversation going. The more the better!
