Have you gone green with your real estate marketing? Even if you don’t choose it as a niche, it’s something you need to know about. Keep in mind that the interest in green real estate is increasing all the time.
If you’re interested in learning more and getting a green designation, here are some resources for you:
NAR’s Green Resource Council – Offered via live lecture or online.
Green Real Estate Education - There’s a certification for agents, brokers, appraisers and inspectors, as well as for the mortgage industry and building trades. From their website: The “Green Leadership” course has certified over 4,300 in just under 23 months.”
EcoBroker.com - From their website: “Founded in 2002, EcoBroker is the first and largest green real estate training and communications program in the world.”

The new green energy package by the federal government had included Geothermal in it 30% tax credit. In New Jersey they also have a $750.00 per ton incentive. This is great. Geothermal is a great way to heat and air condition. At this pace it is not that much more that the old fashion conventional furnace driven systems and air condensor air conditioners. This is a great green way to go!

Thanks for joining the conversation! It seems that most states and even some local governmental agencies have their own “green” offerings. Getting in tune with those does a good job of increasing your value to prospects.
