From the Web: Facebook as a Negotiating Tool?

I was intrigued by the title of this post at ActiveRain:  How to Use Facebook in Your Negotiating.  Guess I wasn’t the only one.  There are 240 comments on the post as of this moment.

Kathryn Acciari from Sturbridge, Massachusetts wrote about a client who did a search on Facebook for the other party in a real estate deal.  If the other party was posting information about their home purchase/sale, they may very well give away hints about how the searcher should approach the negotiations.

It’s a short read, and an interesting issue.  Is it ethical?  How can your clients protect themselves from someone looking over their shoulder as they enthuse about the “dream house” they’re about to get a great deal on?

Interesting issue…
