Real Estate Blogs: Save Time – Recycle!

Posted on Feb 05 2008 | By Kathleen · Comments (4)

As I was looking around for a topic on a particularly uninspired day, Teresa Boardman was kind enough to come to the rescue.  She didn’t do it on purpose, of course.  But, I came across a great blog post she contributed to The Real Estate Tomato that did the trick.

If you’re not aware of Teresa Boardman, she is a pro-blogger, an outstanding real estate agent, and the person who gave me the idea for Whimsical Wednesdays.  If you want to see how a great real estate blogger operates, Teresa’s blog is the one to visit.

Irrestible Real Estate Marketing OffersNow, with her post on recycling at the Tomato, she’s given us some tips on how she can keep up the pace on her blog, where she posts something virtually every day.  I think she may take some holidays off, but that’s about it.

I won’t steal her thunder, except to say that if you are blogging, or thinking about blogging, this is one article you have to read!  Make your blog give back some of the hard work you’ve put into it.

Thanks, Teresa!

Hi Kathleen:

Thanks for sharing Teresa’s article. I have actually started doing just that as I have started my independent blog. Instead of re-inventing the wheel I have been taking old post and updating them with new content and new pictures. Well most I have just cut and paste a few but most have been revived.

I’m still trying to figure Word Press out and have not totally figured out the sidebar so it is a work in progress but websites are always a work in progress.

Marchel,

Glad you found the article useful! I haven’t been recycling, but I think it’s a GREAT idea, and will add it to my bag of tricks, too.

You’re so right about websites being a work in progress. And, the plugins available for Wordpress blogs provide an almost overwhelming choice of sidebar options. But, I know it will all become clear in time!

Take care,

Kathleen
