Sam - I'll bet that buyer will tell other people in the area how easy it is to work with you, how you've saved him time and trouble, etc. etc. An excellent idea!

I have used video in another way as well. I frequently work with buyers from other states. One loved a house he saw, but I knew it to be by a highway and the road noise in the back yard and pool area would be terrible. I stood on a rear balcon and recorded a video to show this buyer the road noise. I loaded it on my website on a hidden page just for him. He didn't even look at the house the next time he was here.

Kristin - I love the blog and it's great to see your collaboration with Dean. If you stop back this way, it would be very interesting to know how you produce the videos: the camera you use, where you choose to host the videos, etc.

Fred - thanks for pointing out the free portion of WellcomeMat. I'll update the post to reflect that!

Actually, the basic service for WellcomeMat.com is still free! But their paid service offers a lot in the way of custom players, MLS compliant players, etc.

I have a video blog - a vlog - for my real estate business. I post 3-4 times a week. It has been working out very well. Video is a great way for clients and potential clients to get to know you. I have noticed that lead generation and working with new clients is more effective since committing to a regular v-blog schedule.

Check out this weekly collaboration with fellow video blogger Dean Ouellette where we answer Phoenix Real Estate Frequently Asked Questions: Click Here
