Whimsical Wednesday: Moving Day
· Comments
Actually, there’s nothing whimsical about moving. There are a number of things I hate about moving.
For one thing, it’s a lot like work – and I already have a job. Another problem is that somehow, no matter how much you pack, the stuff left to pack seems to multiply for every box you fill. Weird.
The biggest problem is realizing how much stuff you’ve tucked away that you’ll probably never use. Maybe some of you don’t have that problem. But, I’m always thinking, well, this is a perfectly good folder/CD/pad of paper/pen/organizer – fill in your own item – and, I really will remember to take those empty ink cartridges to the office supply the next time I’m there.
Ha!
The good news about moving is that for at least a week or two, my desk will be perfectly clear – and everything will have a place - and be in it.
. . well, for a few days anyway. . .

Good luck in your move! Going far?

Thanks, Mike! I had planned to have a full lists of posts this week, but the move was more of a challenge than I anticipated! Moving your office and your house all at the same time can be painful.
I had been located about an hour south of Atlanta. I’m now about an hour north of Atlanta. Dahlonega is a delightful small town in the foothills of the Georgia mountains. Lots of hiking and horseback riding, festivals, wineries and other fun things to do.
I’m looking forward to it all – once I get rid of the technical glitches and get everything in the office and the house where I can find it!
I hate moving. But, things will be settled down soon – I hope
