Authority Sites for Incoming Real Estate Links
For SEO purposes, it’s important that a website has one-way incoming links. A great way to obtain one-way links is to acquire links from websites that are considered “authority” sites in the real estate industry.
Here are some authority sites that link to real estate websites. Some of these sites will give you a link to your website for free - but you need to return the favor with a reciprocal link. That will reduce the importance of having a link from these sites. So, the best alternative is to assign a portion of your marketing budget to purchasing one-way links from these types of sites.
A reciprocal link with authority directories could be valuable if the directory drives a lot of traffic to your website, but be stingy with giving any directory a reciprocal link.

OTHER RESOURCES
You could also consider the standard directories like Yahoo, DMOZ, etc. And, here’s a list of even more real estate directories that includes information about the directories’ page rank, fees, etc.
RealEstateABC also has a list of recommended link sources.
Note 1: This is probably the most powerful backlink you can get from this list. The search engines place a great deal of weight on incoming links from .EDU, .GOV, and .MIL websites. It doesn’t matter that this is a Texas directory. There is no fee or requirement for a reciprocal link, but sites submitting to this Cybersite directory are reviewed before inclusion.
Note 2: The Active Rain directory is an excellent resource. The "ActiveRain Real Estate Network" is a free online community for real estate professionals run on behalf of its members. You have the opportunity to add a profile page highlighting your services in a unique way. We’d appreciate it if you use our Submit Site link, or the one shown above, to register - you’ll be helping this website gain visibility on the site!
*This directory is not strictly a real estate directory, but they provide such a high level of visibility, it’s worth the fee!
