Real Estate Brands
Find Out If You Need a Brand! Assume that someone you have just met asks you what you do for a living. In the space below, write down the first sentence you would typically use to answer that question:
Now, read the sentence, and ask yourself these questions:
- Do you think the sentence provides an easy opening for further discussion?
- Do you think it provides a clear and unique reason why people should work with you?
If you answered “No” to either of those questions, there’s a way for you to turn more prospects into customers! And, once you have defined a brand, you can design your real estate logo. Contact us to learn more.
Our Real Estate Branding Philosophy
We think brands are important for real estate professionals. Why? Because every business has a brand. If you’re a real estate agent, you’re running a real estate consulting business. And, your business needs a brand.
You could just use your broker’s brand. But, odds are that there are a lot of agents under that broker’s umbrella. How will you stand out from the crowd? Here’s an example of how we look at it: your broker is the Chevrolet, you’re the Corvette. If you don’t define what a Corvette is all about, you might just as well be a Nova.
We don’t create “personal brands”. Consumers are pretty sophisticated these days. They don’t really care if you like to fish or if you find a tag line that rhymes with your last name. What they want to know is what you can do for them.
Our Approach to Developing a Real Estate Brand
We have developed a questionnaire for you to complete. Based on the information on the questionnaire, we will prepare a preliminary market positioning statement and a Unique Selling Proposition (USP). We will work with you to refine those two definitions.
Niche Marketing and Brands - Part of the market positioning statement defines your target market. If you have or would like to define a niche market, the brand creation process will help you define that niche market and how you are uniquely prepared to assist consumers in that market.
The Market Positioning Statement and USP will act as your roadmap whenever you need to write marketing copy or explain your business to someone in person. Based on that information, we can also define a brand name that will represent your company in the marketplace.
