real estate brands define your marketing message
So, what does a brand look like in writing? Well, it allows you to get past those over-used phrases. Things like: I want to be your real estate resource, I’ll work hard for you, I’ll handle all the details, I go the extra mile, or I’m a member of the million dollar club.
Do you notice what all those statements have in common? They’re all about you as the agent. Where does the client come in? Your prospects are interested in WIIFM. What’s in it for me? The other problem with a lot of real estate marketing messages is that they are too general. Do your prospects need a real estate resource? How hard is hard? What details are you referring to? What is included in that extra mile? If you’re already making a million dollars, why do you want to help me? (a common misconception about the million dollar club!)
Take a look at a few examples of how different your marketing message is when you’re using your brand definition. The links below will take you to the “about me” page of several websites.
